Pile Driving Inspection Course

This one-day course will be offered on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

PDCA is pleased to present this pre-conference short course for those who are involved in driven pile foundation systems design, installation, inspection and testing.

Pile driving is a self-assuring method of deep foundations construction; the process itself makes each and every pile a “tested” product. Design, construction, inspection and testing constitute the four main parts of a piling project.

This course is intended to cover methods of quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC), as well as basic foundation design principles, installation methods and equipment, important inspection aspects, testing procedures and development, and application of pile driving criteria.

The course also includes presentations on the installation and QA/QC of steel sheet piling and on the durability of steel piling structures.

Who should attend:

This course is designed for contractors, superintendents and foreman, inspectors, civil engineers, geotechnical and structural engineers, specifiers and suppliers; as well as anyone in charge of pile driving construction inspections.

Certificate and PDHs:

Participants will receive a “Certificate of Completion” and 6.75 professional development hours (PDHs).
